Drop In Morning Tea

On the first Friday of each month a community morning tea is held between 11.30am and 12.30pm. Come along and have a cuppa and a chat. The morning tea is free to members. The morning teas will be on:

  • 6 October
  • 3 November

We can organize transport to enable you to attend - just let us know in advance if you require this. A donation of $5 is requested. The donation can be negotiated for those who are financially disadvantaged.

Please RSVP during the week for catering purposes.

There is a community information workshop prior to the morning tea from 10.30am to 11.30am that you are welcome to attend.


Free Legal Information

A solicitor is available on the first Tuesday of the month between 4.30pm and 6:30pm if you require legal information. The next appointments will be on 7 November. Phone to book a 30 minute appointment.


New to the Area? Free Tours in DCC's Minibus

If you are a resident new to Drummoyne-Concord-Rhodes let us show you the local area - its services, parks and some history too. Tours start from either the Drummoyne Community Centre, from Concord Senior Citizens, or from The Connection at Rhodes. The tours are from 1:30pm till approximately 4pm and run on Saturdays and Tuesdays at different times during the year. We can send or receive a fax for you, or do your photocopying - all at a reasonable cost.


Community Groups or Private Functions

Our hall, on the edge of Drummoyne Park and overlooking Five Dock Bay, is available for hire. It caters for up to 100 people and has wheelchair access. The hall can be divided in two for smaller functions, or groups. It is frequently used for meetings, classes, birthday parties, anniversaries and luncheons.

Free Tax Help for Low Income Earners

Appointments with Australian Tax Office trained volunteers are available for low income earners (around $60,000 or less) between July and the end of October. Volunteers will be available to assist you at DCC on Mondays until 30 October or at Five Dock library on Wednesday afternoon until 25 October. Appointments are necessary, so phone DCC to arrange an appointment at either location.
