Children's Art Classes
Thursday 15 February to 12 April, 4pm to 5:30pm
Ages 5 to 12 years
Thel Bannerman is continuing to teach the children's art class in 2018. Thel has many years of experience teaching art to children from pre-schoolers to year seven. She believes the value of art for children is to give them a positive avenue for expression, without pressure or competition. She hopes to do this by providing a relaxed encouraging environment where the children can feel free to experiment and express their ideas. The children will explore a wide variety of subjects using charcoal, pencil, crayon, pastel, paint, clay and various 3D materials. The children will be encouraged to develop their skills and enjoy the different techniques. If this class is full we have a waiting list for the following term.
