This free parenting workshop recognises the big lifestyle changes that occur once children arrive and provides help, information and time to reflect on this important transition. The session is for couples expecting their first child.
Saturday 17 March, 1pm-3pm
Meeting the needs of an Energetic Toddler is for parents only. This session will explore the complexity of toddlers' lives and how these energetic, delightful, capable and sometimes challenging people cope with daily life including the arrival of a new sibling. Bookings essential. Fee program. Negotiable for hardship.
Dads & Babies Workshop
Saturday 5 May, 2pm to 3:30pm
This is a one off workshop. The program is for:
- First time dads (including expectant dads)
- Dads who want to be more involved
- Busy dads who want to make a difference
- Busy dads with limited time
- Dads who want hands-on practical information
- Dads who have questions they want answered about being a dad.
Circle of Security Follow Up
Saturday 24 March, 1pm-4pm
This free follow up session is a refresher afternoon for people who have previously attended the Circle of Security program at Drummoyne Community Centre. The follow up session is for adults only and is facilitated by Dympna Kennedy. Registration is essential.

Relax You & Your Baby
Fridays 16 & 23 February; 9, 16 & 23 March, 11am to 12noon
Five weeks covering babies body language and unique cues - sight, sound, sensory and settling; plus baby massage. For parents/carer and babies up to 12 months. Bookings essential. Facilitated by Dympna Kennedy. The fee for this course is $11 DCC Membership. DCC Membership is valid from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018. If you are not already a member please complete a DCC Membership form.
Groovy Grandparents Playgroup
This is an offsite playgroup for grandparents and grandchildren from 18 months to 6 years. It will restart on 7 February 2018. The playgroup is an informal gathering where grandparents and grandchildren come together in a relaxed and friendly environment to connect, play and learn. There are currently spaces available in this playgroup. Please contact Margaret on 0402 957 840 if you and your grandchild would like to attend.
