10:30am to 11am - Seniors Safety.
Burwood Police on crime prevention, strategies for home, personal, travel safety, fraud etc. Also information on the "Next of Kin" program. This program is for those living alone so they can register a nominated person to be contacted in an emergency.

11am-11:30am - Telecross Service.
This Red Cross volunteer service provides a phone call each day to check that people are OK. It provides peace of mind and independence for people who live alone.

Friday 1 June, 10:30am to 11:30am - Herbs: Their History, Cultivation and Uses.
Hear about the cultivation and use of herbs over the centuries, share your favourite recipes or uses, and pot up one to take home.

Friday 6 July, 10:30am to 11:30am - Loss & Grief.
Loss is a constant in our lives. We all experience loss regularly as a normal part of being human and in our journey of life. Grief, at various levels, is the response to loss. Sally Jeffrey will speak about these vital and normal aspect of our human experience.


Come and listen to some wonderful music. Monthly workshops are scheduled on the following Fridays between 1pm and 3pm. Transport is available, but please book this in advance. These workshops are free to members. Fee for non-members. Led by Joan Douglas.

The Canada Bay Community Choir (CBCC) is a non-auditioning choir that needs male and female singers. CBCC aims to be a choir that caters for novice and experienced singers who want the opportunity to sing with others in a relaxed, friendly environment.
