Friday 2 February, 10:30am to 11:30am - Get your life running smoothly for the New Year. Hands on workshop run by Adele Henty.
Friday 2 March, 10:30am to 11:30am - Limiting Beliefs. Learn how to remove limiting beliefs that stop you doing what you have decided to do. Also learn to reorganize your values to support what it is that you want to do. This information follows on from my last workshop but you do not need to have attended that as these skills need no prior knowledge. Workshop run by Mary Jones.
Friday 6 April, 11am to 12noon - Healthy Brain, Healthy Ageing will be a Seniors Week workshop. This is an interactive presentation which aims to show that there are ways you can look after your brain and allow yourself to age 'brain healthy'. It looks at the way memory works, some tips for improving your memory and the way memory changes as we age. There is also information provided on those changes in memory that cause concern - what to do and who can help and provides strategies for keeping your brain healthy and reducing the risks of developing dementia. This will be followed by a light lunch till 1pm. Bookings essential for catering purposes.
For the Love of Music
Come and listen to some wonderful music. Monthly workshops are scheduled on the following Fridays between 1pm and 3pm. Transport is available, but please book this in advance. These workshops are free to members. Fee for non-members. Led by Joan Douglas.
Canada Bay Community Choir
Thursday 1 February to 12 April, 7pm to 9pm
The Canada Bay Community Choir (CBCC) is a non-auditioning choir that needs male and female singers. CBCC aims to be a choir that caters for novice and experienced singers who want the opportunity to sing with others in a relaxed, friendly environment.
