Two free online Meditations are being held via Zoom.

  • Weekly on Thursday afternoons starting from 30 April 2020. Enjoy a guided meditation with Deborah for 40 minutes starting at 2pm. These are appropriate for everyone. It’s designed to improve your overall wellbeing and that of our planet. Meditation has been proven scientifically to de-stress us, improve our memory, our sleep and many other mind/body benefits.
  • Monthly on Friday evenings starting on 15 May and then on 19 June 2020. You are welcome to join these guided meditations finding peace within and spreading peace out into the world. Join Mary for 40 minutes at 6.30pm.

VIP

Drummoyne VIP Support – Local Client Group

A VIP (Vision Impaired Persons) Peer Support Group meets on the third Thursday of the month between 11.30am and 1pm. The next meeting will be on Thursday 20 February, followed by 19 March and 16 April 2020.

Are you interested in activities, outings, guest speakers and discussion groups? The purpose of VIP Peer Support Groups is to provide a venue whereby people who are blind or have low vision can meet other people who are blind or have low vision, to share experiences and encouragement. The aim of the group is that people will learn from and encourage each other and experience social interaction. Friends and family are welcome.

Free program, $2 for refreshments. Some transport available for residents of City of Canada Bay. Phone Coral on 9713 5734. This group is supported by Vision Australia.

Canada Bay Community Choir

Thursdays 30 January to 9 April, 7pm – 9pm

The Canada Bay Community Choir (CBCC) is a non-auditioning choir that needs male and female singers. CBCC aims to be a choir that caters for novice and experienced singers who want the opportunity to sing with others in a relaxed, friendly environment.
